The coronavirus pandemic has caused a huge backlog in dental treatments across the UK. The latest statistics reveal that the number of treatments performed by NHS dentists on adults in Gloucestershire fell by 22 per cent, from 186,544 in 2019/20 to 146,330 in 2020/21.
